The Power of Data Visualization with Zephyr

Welcome to Zephyr, our state-of-the-art Satellite Spectroscopy sensor data visualization service. We pre-process large datasets and output them into easy-to-understand visualizations created with Python. With our cutting-edge technology, we infer data patterns and anomalies, streamlining your data visualization process and helping you make sense of complex data.

Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) and Enhanced Vegetation Index (EVI) are two widely used remote sensing indices for monitoring vegetation health and density over time. This is seen here as a visualization of the vegetative indices for the Cape Floristic Region over 2 years.

Phenology

Phenology is the study of seasonal change in plants, animals and ecosystems. It can be a very useful index to understand how an ecosystem has changed over time. This has deep implications to the whole biodiversity of the region.

Photosynthetically active radiation (PAR)

PAR is a metric that helps us understand the extent of photosynthesis taking place in an area which is directly related to the amount of plants and availability of light. As can be seen in the plot, over 12 hours.

Water Level (MODIS)

Water is the most important component of out ecosystem and this visualization shows us (in the white regions) how water levels change over the course of two years.
